Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine visited GTU and Faculty.

On February 14th, under the initiative of Professor Badur Chunashvili, Head of Electrical Technologies Department, Georgian Technical University, Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine - Prof. Yevgeny Sokol and Pro-Rector Genady Khrypunov visited the Faculty.

In the course of the current year, GTU and NTU leading scientists have prepared a proposal for financing joint scientific research work and will present to in the EU-funded grant competition of “Horizon 2020” in the nearest future. It is noteworthy that the Technical University professors, teachers and scholars have participated in the international scientific and technical conferences organized by the Ukrainian University, including the conferences "Automated Electric Actuator Problems - Theory and Practice”, "Power Electronics and Energy Efficiency". During the visit to the GTU, a mutual cooperation agreement was signed between universities and young researchers, as well as academic personnel in teaching-educational and scientific-research trips to Georgian and Ukrainian universities.
