02/23/2018 On February 17, 2018, the Faculty of Power Engineering and Telecommunication of GTU held the open scientific conference " Power Engineering and Environment". The conference was organized by: Professor Ketevan Vezirishvili-Nozadze, Associate Professor Natia Arabidze and Assistant Professor - Elene Pantskhava, the Faculty of Power Engineering and Telecommunication. 24 speeches were delivered at the conference. The jury members were: Dean of the faculty Mr. Gia Arabidze; Head of the Energy Department of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development Mr. David Sharikadze; Director of Energy Efficiency Center Mr. Giorgi Abulashvili; Representative of the Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources Mr. Kakhaber Mdivani; Director of Consulting-Design Company Gross-Energy Mr. Anguri Tkebuchava. Student reports theses will be published in GTU collection of works. The winners will be awarded certificates. The competition winners: Master's studies- Doctoral studies: 1. Place - Khatia Arabidze; 2. Place - Valery Burjaliani. Bachelor’s studies: 1. Place - Sandro Gelashvili and Giorgi Kharaishvili; 2. Place - Irakli Popkhadze and Soso Mindiashvili; 3.
