From February 26 to March 1, 2018, TGU Faculty of Power Engineering and Telecommunication workshop of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization of Energy Management Systems and ISO 50001 was held.

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is implementing the project "Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions through the Enhanced Energy Efficiency of Georgia in the Industrial Sector" in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, together with the Georgian Technical University, with the financing of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism
