The Faculty of Power Engineering and Telecommunication

Power engineering and telecommunication represent important basis for the socio-economic development of the country, strengthening its defense capabilities and providing effectiveness of industrial and technological processes. This necessarily requires the advance development of power engineering and telecommunication sectors. The graduates of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Telecommunication are given the opportunity to become active participants of the XXI century reconstruction.

The faculty is equipped with the latest technologies and modern teaching technologies. Recently the teaching laboratory center has been established with the joint effort of the GTU, JSC “Telasi”, French firm “Schneider Electric” and Austrian firm “Herz”. The laboratory enables the students to manage and operate modern technology equipment and devices and renewable energy and energy efficient technologies. The students have the opportunity to use the modern electronic library, virtual laboratories, textbooks in native language and all the advantages of teaching computer technologies.

The faculty is staffed with the academic personnel having relevant competence in the fields of power engineering and telecommunication, thus providing high quality educational space.

The academic process is conducted through professional, bachelor, master and doctoral programs of the faculty.
