The learning mine-laboratory provides a favorable condition for the continuous process of theoretical and practical learning at the higher school, thus changing the practice of mining engineering personnel.

The teaching mine-laboratory was projected considering the whole complexity of underground mining activities. The construction of the laboratory, its equipment with the appropriate machines, mechanisms, transportation means was fulfilled in 1986-1991.

The mining –laboratory is the integrity of horizontal, bent. Vertical tunnels and cameras, which are equipped with modern mining equipment, mechanisms and the automatized means of controlling the industrial process and the underground energy providing system.

The length of the tunnel is around 1000m. The depth from the surface of the ground is 16-30m.

All the Students have the convenient conditions for individual work, being the precondition of acquiring the skills of controlling industry and technological processes and professional training.
