San Diego State University Continues Offering International Degree Programs in Georgia

San Diego State University Georgia offers students an exciting educational opportunity to study in Tbilisi, Georgia. Here students are able to earn a professionally accredited, internationally recognized U.S. bachelor’s degree in the heart of the Caucasus. San Diego State University (SDSU), along with three top Georgian universities, Georgian Technical University (GTU), Ilia State University (ISU), and Tbilisi State University (TSU) offers courses leading to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) internationally accredited bachelor’s degrees.

This year, SDSU’s programs in Georgia have the unprecedented support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, making it possible to offer internationally accredited U.S. degree programs with an annual tuition of 2250 Georgian Lari. Government scholarship also applies.

SDSU’s double degree programs are available for selection on your NAEC database:

▪ Computer Engineering: 0030169 (with Georgian Technical University)

▪ Civil Engineering: 0100130 (with Ilia State University)

▪ Computer Science: 0010151 (with Tbilisi State University)

These American-style programs include a well-rounded liberal arts education and feature: Western Association of Schools and Colleges accreditation and ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accreditation. SDSU-Georgia graduates will leave with a broad base of knowledge and the critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in a STEM career locally, regionally, or internationally.

The history of San Diego State University (SDSU) began in the late 19th century. With a student body population of 36,000, it is one of the largest and most popular universities in California. Since its founding in 1897, the university has grown to become a leading public research university. Each year, SDSU allows students to participate in an academic curriculum distinguished by direct contact with faculty and a global emphasis.

SDSU has been operating in Georgia since 2014. Over these years, through the Millennium Challenge Corporation Compact, SDSU has graduated 523 STEM professionals in Georgia.
