The Fifth International Scientific Conference "Globalization and Modern Business Challenges" was held at the Georgian Technical University. The conference is dedicated to the anniversary date of the Faculty of Business Technology, the fifth year of its establishment. The conference was attended by scientists and students from Hungary, Romania, Germany, as well as professors and students from various Georgian universities.

The conference was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Business Technologies, Professor Rusudan Kutateladze. The conference was welcomed by the Vice Rector for Science, Professor Zurab Gasitashvili, as well as Prof. Bieta Fehervolg, Dean of the University of Panon, Hungary, Professor Victoria Tsupon, Designer from Germany Gudrun Nahrendrof, Professor at the Saarland Institute of Technology and Economics Wilhelm Heuser, Professors Marina Metreveli, Shota Dogonadze, Koba Kobaladze, Naira Galakhvaridze, Student Giorgi Mamulashvili.
