Business trip of the professors of the Faculty of Business Technologies

Associate Professors of the Faculty of Business Technologies Rusudan Kinkladze and Shorena Metreveli visited the city Telavi on May 15-16, 2021, where a field meeting was held in the framework of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the project funded by the Swedish government - "Strengthening the infrastructure and capacity building of Geostat".

The workshop was attended by representatives of scientific circles and academic staff of the various universities and was chaired by Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of Geostat.

During the workshop, the participants got acquainted with the main directions of the development of the Georgian statistical system, the products developed by Geostat and the development strategy for 2020-2023. The methodological features of the calculation of statistical indicators and issues related to their use were also discussed. The needs of various statistical indicators and data were discussed.

During the meeting, a roundtable discussion was held on the needs for statistics, which will be further reflected in the future plans of Geostat.
