An online competition is planned within the Global Student League

The online competition planned within the 2021 Global Student League of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (WTO) has been announced.

The competition will give students from around the world the opportunity to compete with each other to find effective solutions to challenges in the tourism sector and to present the best ideas that will be in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The winning teams will be named within the WTO General Assembly. This year's league theme will be – “A challenge on Tourism for Rural development” and “A Challenge on Plastics Pollution”.

The competition will be open to young people in 4 age categories: school pupils (11-13 years old), high school pupils (14-18 years old), the students with a bachelor's degree in tourism (under 25 years old) and the students with a master's degree in tourism (under 29 years old)
