Intention of UNESCO

20-09-2020

UNESCO intends to take part in the celebration of remarkable historical events or anniversaries of prominent people.

In this regard, UNESCO asks us to provide a list of notable dates (maximum of two nominations, one of which will include gender balance), in the designation of which UNESCO may participate in 2022-2023.
The proposal should be at least regional importance, in line with UNESCO priorities and should promote tolerance, ideals of peace and cultural dialogue;
The anniversary should be a 50th or 100th anniversary, or correspond to a date fifty times over.
More information about the program is available at

Please provide your views no later than October 15, 2020.
