Informational Meeting at Gardabani Public School # 1!
Professors of Business Technologies Faculty Tamar Beridze, Natalia Chanturia, Bela Goderdzishvili met the students of the XI-XII forms of Gardabani Public School # 1 within the project "Developing Methodology for Identifying, Forming and Realizing Entrepreneurial Potential in Pupils and Young People". They introduced the educational programs and activities of Business Technologies Faculty to the future students and invited them to attend “ An Open Day” event. The pupils especially were interested about “Young Entrepreneurs Center”. They expressed the readiness to participate in the Spring Session (March 21-May 2, 2020). The pupils filled out the questionnaires where they expressed their opinion.
At the end, the students expressed the gratitude for the meeting, and the professors thanked the school leaders and teachers on behalf of the University and faculty for their help and support!


Geostat Development Strategy

National Strategy for the Development of Official Statistics of Georgia (2020-2023)
On December 5, 2019, the National Statistics Office of Georgia, Geostat, presented the first strategy for the development of the official system of official statistics for 2020-2023. This important document of Georgia's national policy was developed in coordination with government agencies and based on the recommendations and experience of international statistical organizations. The strategy was developed with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Swedish Government.
Professor Marina Metreveli and Associate Professor Rusudan Kinkladze attended the presentation together with the representatives of Georgian Government, international and non-governmental organizations, business and media.
The strategy document is available on the Geostat and UNDP websites.
