Nino Kavtaradze participated in the work of the International Business Conference

On November 22-24, 2019, the 2nd International Scientific Conference on Advanced Research in Social Sciences was held at the Sorbonne University (Paris, France). On behalf of the Georgian Technical University, Professor Nino Kavtaradze Presents the report of “Higher Education Financing System in Georgia - Problems and Challenges” - Higher Education Financing System in Georgia - Problems and Future Challenges.
The report was highly endorsed, the speaker was awarded a certificate, the articles were published in the International Journal of Science.
Interesting suggestions were received from representatives of various universities on further cooperation with Georgian Technical University. The conference organizers expressed their desire to hold the conference in Georgia in the future.

“Entrepreneurship Day” will be held at Georgian Technical University

Within the framework of the implementation of the 2nd year of the project “Critical Spark: Entrepreneurial Education Program for the Universities”, announced by the British Council in cooperation with the University of Kiel (UK), organized by GTU Innovation Center, on 25 December, Wednesday, Georgian Technical University “GTU’s Entrepreneurship Day ” will be held for the second time.

The Students’ Conference

On December 7-8, 2019, The Students’ Conference SIUEC - 2019 was held at Akaki Tsereteli State University (Kutaisi).
The conference was attended by undergraduate and postgraduate students of the of Business Technologies Faculty of Georgian Technical University - Ani Labadze, Ana Gamakharia, Mariam Gogaladze, Salome Nefaridze, Ekaterine Khetaguri and their supervisor - Associate Professor Tamar Devidze, Which has been a member of the conference's editorial committee for many years.
At the plenary session, Ani Labadze and Anna Gamakharia were elected as members of the Students’ Seminar Board.
At the conference, 46 students from different universities came out with interesting reports. Our students Ani Labadze and Anna Gamakharia were co-chairs during the sectional work of the conference. The speeches of Mariam Gogaladze, Ani Labadze and Anna Gamakharia deserved much interest and approval,
The conference ended with a cultural-cognitive excursion to Motsameta-Gelati.

Nika Chitishvili, freshman of the undergraduate program of Public Administration, won the Wushu Sanda Championship in Tbilisi on December 8, 2019 and became the eighth champion in the 70-75 kg weight category.
Congratulations to Nick on this victory and wish him all the best!
