Invitation to TNC-20 conference .
 

International Conference on Science and Education Networks - TNC-20 will be held in Brighton (UK) on June 8-12, 2020.

TNC is Europe's most prestigious and large-scale science and education networking conference, which is held annually, regularly.

The TNC Lightning Talk Challenge program is being held in the framework of the conference, aimed the presentation of the ideas of talented young professionals.

The program is open to young people who are proficient in IT education and are fluent in English.

Full funding will be provided for finalists to attend and report on the conference.

 Study visit to Brussels
(For the future leaders)

Business Technologies Faculty offers to the students 4-5 days visit to European Parliament structures and institutions. The visit will include
   

·      Direct meetings with the members of European Parliament and leading lawmakers;

·          Meetings with TOP party leaders,
                  o European People Party
                  o Social Democratic Party
                  o Liberal Democratic Party
                  o Greens Party
 

·         Meetings according to individual profile and interests;

·         Creation of a participant profile on the basis of the European Parliament;

·         Observing of the working of the European Parliament's institutions, structures and relations with top officials;

·         Meetings in regional commissions;

·         Personal Coordinator, excursion to Brussels;
After visiting Google Office the most creative students will have the opportunity to be re-invited and collaborate at the headquarters in Europe, where they will see the work process, create their own profile on Google base;

·         The European Parliament's International Quality Certificate will be issued;

·         The students will have a direct invitation from the European Parliament;

·         Individual permits of the European Parliament, allowing the students to attend the sessions. Permissions will be left to the participants;

·         The students will meet the leadership of “ European Alliance for Georgia” that is Brussels-based organization.

·         Visit to the European Parliament – Museum

The project covers the following costs: Study trips to Euro Parliament, meetings with the members of Euro Parliament , Google Headquarter visit, Session attendance, all the other activities provided in frame of the program, Extras and Certificate fees, Excursion expenses, Hotel, Breakfast, Pre-training, Museum Visit .

The full cost of participation in the study visit is 350 euros.
Project costs do not cover: flight and airport transfer costs.

Let's donate to the orphanage of Dzegvi

Students' Self-Governance of Georgian Technical University within the framework of social responsibility, together with the students and staff of GTU is conducting a large-scale charity event during December 1 to 15.
As part of the action, various food products, toys, books, sweets, warm clothes and personal hygiene items will be collected for children, which will be delivered to the residents of the Dzegvi shelter on December 17.
On New Year's Day, GTU Theater will host the children at the “New Year's Eve Celebration”.

Products and items can be delivered to the Students' Self-Governance office (# 730).
