The 11th International Tourism Congress “The Image and Sustainability of Tourism Destinations” was held on November 5-7, 2019, at Madeira University (the island of Madeira, Portugal). The congress was organized by the Center for Tourism Research, Development and Innovation (CiTUR)
Marina Metreveli, Professor of Business Technologies Faculty has been invited to the congress. She delivered a report "Georgian Tourism and Strategic Directions of State Policy in Terms of Crises".
Her work will be published in the Congress Report Collection and Scientific Journal, which will be included in the SCOPUS database. The abstract of the work has already been published in the Proceedings of the Congress, pp. 72-73.
For the purpose of future cooperation, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality of the University of Madeira and M.Metreveli’s accepting as a CiTUR member has begun.
