Erasmus+ - GTU Representatives Working Visit at KUT

03/21/2020 On 3-7 June, 2019 the representatives of GTU International Relations and Standards Office and the Faculty of Transportation and Mechanical engineering visited Koszalin University of Technology (Politechnika Koszalińska – KUT) (Poland). 

  The Deputy Head of International Relations and Standards Office, Assist. Prof. Nino Zhizhilashvili and Executive Assistant to the Head of the Office, Ms. Rita Seropiani visited Koszalin University of Technology within Erasmus+ mobility for training activities. During the mobility stay at KUT they had working meetings with Polish colleagues, Erasmus+ coordinators, Professors. At working meetings Georgian and Polish colleagues discussed various issues such as ongoing educational processes at the Universities, students and staff exchange in the frames of Erasmus+ project, actual problems of ECTS recognition as well as the possibilities to enhance further cooperation between the universities. 
Ms. Seropiani shared her experience in planning of social and cultural events and providing relevant organizational activities for guests, incoming students and academic and administrative staff within Erasmus+ mobility projects.

Assist. Prof. Davit Japaridze from the Faculty of Transportation and Mechanical engineering was invited by the Technical University of Koszalin for delivering the lectures.

He delivered lectures related to the role of innovative mechanical engineering, for the development of Georgia and the world economy as well as to enhancing innovation competencies and entrepreneurial skills in engineering education. He delivered the lectures at KUT Faculties of Mechanical Engineering and Economic Science.
Hosted by Prof. Krysztof Rokosz, young Georgian researcher visited labs and educational centers of above mentioned faculties as well.

During their stay at KUT, GTU representatives took part in Erasmus+ International Workshops as well. During the workshops they had the meetings with the participants from Polish and foreign universities considering the possibilities for further cooperation.

On the last day of the working visit at KUT, GTU representatives met Prof. Danuta Zawadzka, Vice-Rector for the Education of Technological University of Koszalin. At  the meeting were discussed the issues related to new joint educational and research project proposals.
Intensive working program at KUT included various social-cultural activities organized by the Polish University.
