Scientific-technical conference "Transport Bridge Europe-Asia" was held at Georgian Technical University



      The organizers of the event were: Georgian Technical University, Silesian Technological University of Poland, Akaki Tsereteli State University, Dvali Institute of Machine Mechanics and Kaspi Municipality City Hall.
     The audience at Georgian-Polish IV International Scientific-Technical Conference "Transport Bridge Europe-Asia" was welcomed to by the Deputy Rector of the Technical University of Georgia in the scientific field, Zurab Gasitashvili, Dean of Faculty of Transportation and Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Otar Gelashvili.
The goal of the Georgian-Polish IV International Scientific-Technical Conference "Transport Bridge Europe-Asia" is to perform the coordination of infrastructure of the fields integrated in the transport united system (motor, rail, sea and aviation), study the existed problems and work out the strategies of their development, promote the implementation of joint projects with European universities as well.
     Georgian-Polish IV International Scientific-Technical Conference "Transport Bridge Europe-Asia" Georgia is on the crossroads of Europe and Asia Transportation of strategic purpose cargo. Consequently, one of the main priorities of the transport system is the coordinated functioning of transport sectors, modernization and construction of transport infrastructure in accordance with international standards and the harmonization of the country's transport legislation with international law, which has been identified during the conference.
     Georgian-Polish IV International Scientific-Technical Conference "Transport Bridge Europe-Asia" was provided for specialists and students of transport field, promoting the activities of the transport sector representatives. Foreign representatives of the filed (Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Azerbaijan) as well as Georgian specialists made the report (total of 25 reports). Within the frames of Georgian-Polish IV International Scientific-Technical Conference "Transport Bridge Europe-Asia" the problems and the ways of their solving was discussed. The existed reality and challenges of Georgian transport system were also discussed within the working schedule of the conference.
