11-12-2017 On 2 - 8 December, Dr. Piotr Chohura from Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences – WUELS (Poland) has been visiting GTU Faculty of Agricultural Science and Biosystems Engineering within Erasmus+ mobility for teaching activities. He has been delivering the course about horticulture, including vegetable production, vegetable markets.  The course covered the issues of appropriate teaching methods in Poland as well.

Dr. Piotr Chohura is a young scientist at the Faculty of Technoloy and Life Science at WUELS. His lectures at GTU were conducted within Erasmus+ mobility project, coordinated by Polish university.

At the meetings with the Faculty Dean, Prof. George Kvartskhava and academic staff of the Faculty were discussed the issues related to joint research projects. Mr. Chohura became familiar with ongoing educational and scientific activities at the Faculty.

Polish guest also visited popular GTU educational-research laboratories, including: botanics and plant pathology, food technology lab, microbiology, etc.

Mobility schedule included working meeting at GTU International Relations and Standards Office. At the meeting were discussed the perspectives for further cooperation between the universities under Erasmus+ Key Action 2 Capacity building in the field of higher education.
